Charlie Kirk Was Right. Our Leaders Ignored Him.
In a Nutshell
Charlie Kirk questioned the official October 7th narrative within days, predicting Israel would use it to ethnically cleanse Gaza and warning that Netanyahu's government would benefit politically from the attacks. The video argues that the response killed far more civilians than the original attack—around 80,000-200,000 Palestinians versus 1,200 Israelis—and that American politicians imported this "one Israeli life equals many others" worldview, leading to lies about American victims, blank-check support for the war, and punishment of critics as anti-Semites. The core message is that both the initial attack and Israel's response violated absolute moral standards against killing innocents, and that the American political class's embrace of these standards destroyed its moral authority and accelerated the country's decline.

The attacks that occurred on October 7, 2023 represented the seventh of October 2026 anniversary of the events. The attacks were horrific and the most widespread in the media against Israel throughout its history. Three years later, there is no doubt about what occurred when Hamas fighters swept through the Gaza sector, which is technically independent from Israel but was controlled by Israel in 1967 and still runs it. Hamas fighters advanced through the southern border of Israel, specifically to a music festival and then to the kibbutz, where they began killing people and taking hostages. 1,200 people were killed, with the majority being civilians. Many of those killed were at the music festival.
The world felt instant terror and horror because it was clearly horrific. The majority of the dead were ordinary Israelis rather than soldiers of the Israeli Defense Army. Many were women and young men who were killed. People stopped around the world, even those who do not usually stand alongside Israel, admitted that this was a terrible matter with no excuse. No one can justify the killing of civilians anytime, anywhere. This was the innate reaction of most people.
Two things were immediately obvious: first, it was very strange that this happened given Israel's security situation. Second, this was the beginning of change not just in Israel or Gaza, but in the whole world. This event was likely to ignite a series of events that would change the world wherever people live. During the three years that have passed since, this has proven true. The attack led directly to six separate conflicts in at least five different countries, wars that have cost hundreds of thousands of human lives. These conflicts do not seem likely to end soon and are now accelerating, transforming into something that reshapes the world. When grandchildren look at this period, they will see October 7 as they see the events of September 11 or Pearl Harbor - the beginning point, a turning point in world history.
The two things that many people were not aware of were: the strangeness of how this could happen, and that it was the beginning of change. The more knowledge one has of Israel and how it manages its planning, geography, and security situation, the more mysterious the situation becomes. Efrat Finningson was among the first to notice this. She served in the Israeli Defense Army and filmed two video clips from her apartment in Israel, saying she was not sure how this could happen given her full knowledge of how the country defends itself.
Five days after October 7, Charlie Kirk appeared on a podcast and said the story was illogical. Kirk had visited Israel many times and described the whole country as like an impregnable fortress. He found it difficult to be convinced of the narrative, having visited the Gaza border where one cannot take three steps without encountering a nineteen-year-old carrying an AR-15 or automatic machine gun. The entire country was on probation.
During the nine months before October 7, Israel was on the brink of civil war regarding judicial system issues. Hundreds of thousands of Israelis came out to the streets because Netanyahu was redefining the Israeli constitution. There were protests planned for that week against Netanyahu, where tens of thousands were expected to go out to the streets. Netanyahu now has an emergency government and a mandate for leadership. Kirk asked legitimate questions about whether an order was issued to stop fighting or a ceasefire order for six hours, noting that Israel is the size of New Jersey state and a helicopter journey from Jerusalem to Gaza borders takes 45 minutes.
Charlie Kirk was sufficiently aware of Israeli domestic politics to realize that Netanyahu's government was at the end of its power. Thanks to the events of October 7, Netanyahu remained in power and still holds power three years later. Kirk was close to many people in Israel as a veteran Christian Zionist defender of Israel, which made him feel he could express doubts publicly without being accused of anti-Semitism. However, he was quickly described as anti-Semitic by a number of right-wing figures who now commemorate him and claim he believed things he did not actually think.
The questions that need to be asked include: what did the Israeli government know regarding Hamas' plans to attack Israel? Dave Smith, who has followed this from the beginning, has answers to these questions. Kirk was sufficiently knowledgeable about what was happening in Israel to ask these questions based on intuition.
In the same interview, Kirk made forward-looking statements about what would happen next. He stated that Netanyahu and the hardline right-wing Israeli government would try to ethnically cleanse Gaza, talking about getting 2.5 million people out. Kirk noted that after seeing women and children burned alive and driven out into the streets, there was no idea that they needed a truce or peace treaty. He mentioned his ability to distinguish patterns over the past five years was extremely sharp, citing COVID, Maui fires, and Epstein as examples where his intuition proved right.
Charlie Kirk knew what would happen because he had extensive knowledge of Israel, knew Israeli prime ministers and government ministers, and used to visit Israel a lot. He knew perfectly well what would happen. When he was killed in Utah last year, his memory was stolen by some characters, starting with the Prime Minister of Israel who used to defend everything Kirk hated and warned against severely, including the ethnic cleansing of Gaza. Benjamin Netanyahu was among the first to tweet condolences after Charlie Kirk's assassination.
The first tweet by the current president about Charlie Kirk after hours of his death was a picture of Charlie Kirk with the Israeli flag. The only thing people are supposed to remember about Charlie Kirk is that he was a critic of Israel - well-informed and sharp. In reality, this is the opposite of the truth completely. Everyone united to promote the lie that Charlie Kirk always defended Israel, and three years later, this lie prevailed. If lies are repeated enough, loudly enough, with sufficient force, and if those who refuse to repeat them are punished, over time history will record them as fact.
No one was charged with answering the questions Charlie Kirk asked at the time: How did this happen? Who benefits from it? How did a military police state allow people from Gaza, one of the poorest corners of the earth, to fly over it with gliders and begin killing girls at a music festival? Because these questions were not asked and blatant lies were allowed to go through without being held accountable, other lies followed.
Mike Huckabee, the shareholder on Fox News who became ambassador for the United States to Israel, compared what happened on October 7 to the crematorium, saying he had committed Israel commits murders horrific and gruesome, the likes of which we have never seen like it since the Holocaust, and that it was worse than the Holocaust in some cases, cutting children's heads and placing children in ovens.
There was a region in the world that Britain controlled after World War I called Palestine. It has been given different names over the course of two thousand years past, but its inhabitants are very similar. Then a group of people from Eastern Europe claimed possession of it and expelled many of its inhabitants. Many of these villages have turned into public parks in Israel. Regardless of one's opinion on whether this is justified in the Bible or considered an atrocity, if one is American looking at it from thousands of miles away, it defines another old competition among people competing for the same piece of earth.
The Israeli government explained to Americans that this was important for several reasons. First, because it was much worse than what they went through. Netanyahu said in front of Congress that 1,200 people might not seem like a large number, but this is the equivalent of 40,000 Americans - 16 times the number of victims of the September 11 attacks. The explanation is relative, as Israel has 10 million people and America has 340 million. What Netanyahu really meant, and what subsequent events proved, is that one Israeli life is equivalent to dozens, even hundreds, even thousands of lives of others.
According to official estimates that cannot be denied by the Israelis themselves, around 80,000 were killed in Gaza. But from satellite pictures, it is very clear that hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were killed by Israeli government forces in Gaza. Even if assuming they were all Hamas fighters, the vast majority were civilians - children, women, adults who were not in Hamas and were not hidden in tunnels making bombs or repairing aircraft for a new attack. Just like anyone who normally sits at a dinner table, they were killed.
The question arises whether 1,200 for 190 or 200 thousand is a proportionate reaction. This is only proportionate if one thinks that the life of one group is equal to many times more than the life of the other group. As Americans and heirs of Western civilization, this idea is firmly rejected because every human being was created by God. Therefore, regardless of ability or appearance or any difference between people, their lives and souls are equal in value because each one was created from God.
This principle was heavily criticized when applied to the Eastern front during Operation Barbarossa, when the German army was exposed to attack by resistance advancing through Ukraine, Poland, then Russia, and killed between 10 and 50 resistance for every German soldier killed. Over the course of eighty years, this standard has been viewed as immoral because the life of every human being has soul value. When one of your men is killed, one cannot with a clear conscience kill 50 of their men because this is wrong by definition.
No one in the United States political class was ready to say loudly that this is not ethical. Instead, over the past three years, they headed to finance the ethnic cleansing and genocide. The promoters of that genocide were able to spread blatant lies without any reaction at all regarding the events of October 7 and the subsequent events that justified it. They were able to plant their ideas in the American political class.
This is actually the virus that causes a catastrophic situation between nations - the way of thinking that it is acceptable to kill innocent people. From the perspective of morality, this is always wrong everywhere. But it is also a guarantee for future consequences because what is done to others will be done in return. This is not just a religious principle or a Christian idea, but an Eastern idea often called karma, based entirely on a physical principle. States do not act wisely in this way, calculating threats based on realistic assessment rather than getting hurt with hysteria.
Israeli politicians live in a permanent state of war with every country in the region and every nation in the world, claiming all of them hate Israel. The problem is that they are infected with the ancient anti-Semitic virus, believing they are completely irrational and that nothing they do is wrong - all criticism is a lie. This type of thinking does not take anywhere except destruction.
A country should maintain a reward system for truth-telling rather than lies. When a system is built on pretense, it loses its way and walks without a map or northern star. Without truth, authority loses its value because people stop listening to leaders who lie. When leaders lose control through deception, they resort to controlling weapons, but this becomes unsustainable as it destroys trust entirely.
Rather than joining the mourning for the tragedy of October 7th, Israel's political class exploited it as a pretext for killing other people's children and spreading endless lies. The first major lie was that the attack was on America, when it was actually an attack on southern Israel by people angry over specific claims about what the country did.
The claim that many victims were Americans was false. No American citizens were killed on October 7th who did not hold Israeli citizenship. The victims carried dual citizenship. The hostages were repeatedly described as Americans, but many held American citizenship while serving in the Israeli army, which is a foreign army.
Allowing American citizens to serve in foreign armies is unwise and humiliating to the United States. It creates practical complications and can be used to drag America into conflicts that do not benefit it. Politicians can claim intervention is necessary because Americans were attacked, without clarifying these Americans are actually Israelis serving in another country's army.
President Biden celebrated the release of Eitan Alexander, described as an American citizen held by Hamas. However, Alexander was born in Israel, lived in New Jersey briefly, returned to Israel to fight with the Israeli Defense Forces, was kidnapped, applied for American nationality after his kidnapping, and publicly declared he would return to fight with the Israeli army again. He was not an American citizen when kidnapped.
American leaders, including the President, lied by claiming Alexander was an American citizen to involve America in someone else's conflict. This endangers American soldiers' lives, and some have been killed defending Israel. When leaders lie without being challenged, the situation worsens and people become confused about whose conflicts are actually America's.
American politicians have begun imagining that Israel's wars are America's wars and Israel's enemies are America's enemies. Rick Scott from Florida claimed Iranians have been killing Americans for 47 years, which is false. Iran possesses neither nuclear weapons nor delivery systems. When politicians listen to lies without challenging them, they begin believing the lies themselves.
Beyond the 1,200 deaths on October 7th, with 700 being innocent civilians, the event transformed people into extremists. The Anti-Defamation Association and Department of Justice issue weekly reports on extremism, but extremism is often defined as any opinion contradicting their beliefs.
True extremism is an opinion held by only a small percentage of the population. The majority opinion says enough killing children, while the extreme view advocates killing each other's children. This genocidal view has become mainstream in Israel, whereas three years ago many Israelis held humane views toward Palestinians.
An Israeli Knesset member and Netanyahu coalition member stated on Israeli English-language television that he believes 100% in the complete erasure of Gaza, removing all inhabitants, and annexing the West Bank. When asked if this includes children, he stated the child born tomorrow in Gaza will do exactly the same as an Israeli child born in Jerusalem, because this is what they learn through breast milk, making children guilty by birth.
If someone said about Jews that they needed to kill all Jews because they are born hating others, they would be attacked as a Nazi. But when someone says this about Palestinians, the same standard should apply. This politician has praised Hitler. He is running for office in Netanyahu's coalition.
Randy Vine, a Florida congressman, laughed at a picture of a dead child in Gaza. American politicians are importing Israeli worldviews into American politics. When politicians are caught advocating murder of children, they attack the person who caught them as the real criminal.
Netanyahu compared Palestinians to the giants of the Torah, whom God commanded to be killed, including the last child and livestock. Days after October 7th, he called for comprehensive genocide. The American political class ignored this, and America continued sending bombs to commit the genocide he promised.
This is not an attack on Israel's prime minister or allies, but on American politicians who sign onto this in America's name. It pollutes and destroys the country's spirit. A state that builds its leadership through collective extermination loses any right to rule others. America's army cannot approach Iranian coasts or the Houthis in Yemen, revealing its limits.
Without moral justification and without aircraft carriers to impose will, America only has the American dollar, which can collapse quickly when unsupported. America is losing support because it backs an indefensible project that history will condemn.
The American political class agreed to something everyone hates and no normal person can defend. When 75% of people find killing children abhorrent, the political class refuses to admit killing children is wrong. Instead, they punish people for their differences and flip moral standards.
When caught doing something terrible, the response is to attack the person who caught you as the real criminal. Combined with the largest government funding in human history, this creates tremendous power to punish critics.
The Trump administration signed an executive order to protect university students, declaring anti-Semitism a form of discrimination that government officials can address. They implemented strict visa audit processes and cancelled more than 250,000 US visas for anti-Semitism.
The only systematic attempt to define anti-Semitism comes from the International Holocaust Remembrance Association (IHRA), adopted by most countries. According to this definition, most examples of anti-Semitism are actually criticism of the State of Israel and the Israeli government, which is secular and includes Arab parties in the Knesset.
An official cancelled a quarter million US visas for a crime that is not properly identified, with the only definition being criticism of a foreign government. This applies to visa holders trying to come to America or work here, including H-1B visa holders.
If America were defining ethnic hatred, it should address hatred against white people, which is everywhere and taught in universities. If measuring bias that actually harms people by preventing jobs, federal contracts, or university enrollment, it would likely be bias against white people or Christians, not anti-Semitism.
If the same principle used against foreigners were applied to American citizens through political persecution campaigns, it would be launched not in defense of oppressed groups like descendants of slaves, but on behalf of some of the richest people. The real victim would be portrayed as Leon Black.
The video addresses the claim that Americans harbor hatred toward Jews, often framed through criticism of Israeli government actions. Critics argue that viewing the Israeli government as oppressing Palestinians or portraying strong preying on weak is antisemitic. The speaker questions whether voting for Trump over Kamala Harris reflects an attempt to avoid further political identity conflicts.
The nation faces a critical moment with rising antisemitic rhetoric and hostility toward citizens. The Department of Justice states there is no place for hate in America and claims commitment to confronting it wherever it appears. The DOJ describes gathering government agencies, religious leaders, and community individuals nationwide to eradicate hatred, meeting with targeted individuals in their homes, places of worship, and schools.
The speaker challenges the DOJ's priorities, asking why officials focus on a "war on hate" rather than addressing fentanyl entering American society or the 70,000-100,000 annual deaths from drug overdoses. The speaker questions why the government isn't fighting a real war against those killing citizens instead of lecturing on negative attitudes toward foreign countries.
The speaker maintains that government officials cannot dictate positions in a free country. While individuals have freedom to choose their positions, they cannot commit violence against others. The speaker opposes violence against the innocent, including Israel's use of violence against Palestinians, the U.S. government's actions against fishermen off Venezuela's coasts, and against girls attending schools outside Tehran.
The speaker argues that standards for human behavior must apply universally, regardless of religion (Christian, Muslim, Jew, Buddhist) or color. These standards are constant, unchanging, and derived from God's will, not human creation. The duty is to commit to these standards and judge others according to them, regardless of wealth, donations to Donald Trump, or relationship to the Attorney General Todd.
Based on these absolute standards, the events in Israel on October 7th represent a mistake and an unethical, disgusting act. The speaker states Israel's response to October 7th is also a mistake and cannot be justified. Ignoring these absolute standards will destroy the country. The speaker hopes for a return to global standards.

Dave Smith joins to assess events since October 7th. Smith notes that Republican supporters supported Trump 100% on the war, measured through opinion polls. Smith recalls Ben Shapiro stating Tucker Carlson doesn't matter and that his separation from Trump meant nothing. Smith mentions Shapiro was proven wrong as Carlson's podcast ranked number one in categories.
Smith notes Shapiro recently stated Carlson caused Republicans to lose the Senate, contradicting earlier claims that Carlson doesn't matter. Smith changed his mind about appearing on the show after this development. Smith is grateful Carlson launched the Trump administration's most hated war in American history on behalf of a foreign state.
October 7th changed American policy radically. Current divisions exist among supporters of Trump, including Marjorie Taylor Greene, Thomas Massie, Megan Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones. The American left shows the same dynamic with divisions between the establishment and popular bases. The situation relates to the collective genocide followed by the war on Iran.
The speaker acknowledges the horror of October 7th and people who died, reading stories including one about a 22-year-old woman who called her parents while bleeding to death. While acknowledging the terrorist attack's horror, the speaker notes America lost its mind after September 11th events, leading to the Patriot Act, torture, Abu Ghraib prison, and Iraq war.
Mumia Abu-Jamal, the mayor of New York, published a post describing October 7th as a horrific war crime where innocent people were killed, expressing New Yorkers' sadness for victims. However, Ben Shapiro, Dave Rubin, and Nikki Haley expressed anger because Abu-Jamal described it as a crime, suggesting ongoing war.
Smith defends democratic socialism while opposing the left's energy on this collective genocide. The speaker notes the biggest experiment in big government and money printing occurred over the past five years, with M3 money supply rising dramatically after COVID-19. Government spending reached unprecedented levels in human history.
A siege on Gaza has existed since 2007, constituting an act of war. Military occupation dates to 1967 when Israel took control of these people and kept them captive without nationality. This represents a war crime. The response to October 7th was much worse than the initial event.
The speaker appreciates discussions about war ethics, particularly reconsidering World War I concepts. Even if scenarios justify killing innocent people, the standard should remain high. The current circumstances present an opportunity for radical change in perspective.
Charlie Kirk was right that ethnic cleansing occurred against Palestinians from their lands. The entire place was destroyed with open statements that Palestinians cannot return. The speaker notes that Nazis were bad not because they hated Jews but because they harmed people, including many Jews who committed no wrongdoing.
The prevailing opinion claims Nazis were bad because they hated Jews, but they were actually bad because they hurt other people. A global principle judges behavior, and the Nazis violated this principle. The speaker argues that people lack a framework for understanding Nazi wrongdoing, allowing others to act similarly without accountability.
When examining Hitler, Stalin, Mao, or Pol Pot, their evil nature stems not only from people they killed but because they killed their own people. Hitler didn't recognize Jews as his people, and communists didn't acknowledge kulaks as their people. However, they held monopoly on defense force for these populations.
The American dream involves families working their entire lives to build homes as places of security and real wealth. Many homeowners now use credit cards to cover expenses, paying 20% or more in interest. American homeowners cannot purchase houses without debt, and the question becomes from whom they will borrow.
American Financing helps homeowners take advantage of rights acquired through hardship. The company provides customers an average of $800 per month, approximately $10,000 annually. While some argue Israel is not committing collective genocide because they could kill everyone if they wanted, this represents a weak argument. Israel's popularity declined significantly globally due to actions taken. The Gaza Ministry of Health officially announced 70,000 dead.
The Israelis denied Hamas casualty figures for many years, then quietly acknowledged the numbers and indicated they were even higher. The population of Gaza was 2.1 million. After viewing images from the conflict, the question arose whether everyone had been killed. Large numbers of civilians were displaced and forced to leave their homes. Many were killed during this period, after which the entire area was destroyed following civilian evacuation.
One of the oldest continuously populated areas was destroyed, along with every mosque, school, playground, and hospital, with systematic brutality. This meets the definition of genocide under international law. However, the perception that every civilian was killed or the entire population exterminated may not be entirely accurate.
Arguments exist that the current situation differs from what Adolf Hitler attempted to accomplish. If there is a slight difference in the nature of this genocide, the conclusion remains that the people are captives in a situation created by the State of Israel, which created the circumstances leading to the events of October 7th.
Every armed Hamas member who committed acts of violence on October 7th first experienced brutal treatment by the Israeli state. This does not make it acceptable to take revenge on innocent civilians, but there is a human bias to consider.
There exists a bias toward the more advanced side in conflicts. In America, an IDF soldier pressing a button or pulling a trigger to launch a bomb is perceived as following orders from a general, while a Hamas fighter is portrayed as a monster invading and killing people randomly. The difference between primitive brutality of Palestinian terrorism and the advanced methodology of the Israeli army, including air warfare and drone operations, is enormous.
No battles occurred in Gaza in the traditional sense of fighting an enemy army. The tremendous difference in development makes it easy for people to hold bias, especially when engaging in narratives about clash of civilizations. However, Germany produced Bach and Beethoven, and Russia produced great writers, yet this does not diminish the brutality of those systems.
A human child under a building with a mother screaming in pain remains the same regardless of whether the perpetrator is considered barbaric or advanced. The notion that Germans possessed a unique capacity for the Holocaust because they were exceptionally evil is contradicted by events in Rwanda in 1994 and Gaza. Every people, under certain circumstances, is capable of killing their neighbors.
As a father, there is constant worry about a child's exposure to harm that is difficult to control. The thought of a daughter at the music festival on October 7th creates an overwhelming urge to destroy everything and kill all involved. Similarly, a nineteen-year-old in Gaza who witnessed his grandmother killed by an Israeli soldier's bullet, then saw his father spat upon and arrested for pushing after the shooting, represents the type of story that drives people to join Hamas.
Good children who went to prison, though they may have made mistakes, emerged changed after just a few years, becoming hardened and extreme. Circumstances have the power to change people.
During the past three years, the existence of a fifth column became apparent, where supporting Israel was a red line for many years. After October 7th, Israel's actions were horrific enough that many followers of events said "Oh my God, this is shocking," only to be met with accusations of being Nazis for not wanting to kill the innocent.
Meta company documents leaked showing millions of censorship operations carried out by the Israeli government after October 7th on Facebook. Other social media companies likely do the same. The administration punishes people for being anti-Semitic when they criticize Israel's behavior in Gaza.
Everyone who mocks people for asking questions has questions themselves. No one reading Epstein's files concluded the case was closed and all questions answered. An email to a urologist requesting nine-year-old children and grape-flavored soda raises questions that require investigation rather than dismissal.
Ernest Hemingway stated that America was the greatest country, except for Israel. A religious viewpoint emerged when questioning Mike Huckabee about evangelical Christians in the country. The connection many contemporary Jews have to Israel appears stronger than their connection to Abraham or Moses, with the Holocaust and Israel forming closer ties than traditional religious connections.
The current administration's actions constitute betrayal beyond understatement. The comparison to Bobby Kennedy is striking in how American citizens are demonized for standing against the hell of wasting taxpayer money slaughtering innocent children aged three or four while their parents scream, when Benjamin Netanyahu wants the land.
Bobby Kennedy publicly stated his belief in everything, claiming God sent him on a mission to address American health problems, then left the country with chronic diseases. The question arises what they have against him. Kennedy could have been the third-party candidate to end the two-party system if he had opposed the collective genocide throughout 2024 when American public opinion awakened.
Instead, Kennedy was forced to describe Palestinians as spoiled and defend them. He described October 7th as an unjustified attack, despite knowing this was a lie. No one knowledgeable about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict can describe anything as unjustified when considering that no one escapes Israeli prison and attacks Israelis without provocation.
Tulsi Gabbard sits silently or lies and pushes for war. Donald Trump lies to the public and pushes for war, claiming Iran was two weeks from having a nuclear weapon ready for use that would bomb Los Angeles, despite knowing this is false. The IAEA reports Iran remains at 60% uranium enrichment without taking steps toward weaponization or making political decisions to begin.
Supporting a president who lies to his country and drags it into war means Democrats will control Congress, ending Trump's domestic agenda. His foreign policy agenda remains free for him to pursue as aggressively as he wants without congressional restriction.
The alliance built against crazy nonsense, endless wars, and open borders has been sacrificed for a war for Israel. This accelerates America's deterioration and can be considered an attack on the country. The ruling class appears determined to drain as much wealth as possible on the way to the abyss, like a venture capital company controlling the United States and stripping resources while increasing debt.
The official narrative about how Donald Trump was convinced to take this action is incomplete. The New York Times reported Benjamin Netanyahu and the head of Mossad said it would be easy, but Trump knew this was not true. No one in the administration agreed with this assessment, and even Rubio called it imaginary. No one told him things would not go as planned.
The conversation occurred over the phone, was mentioned publicly afterward, and Trump repeated the statement three more times. The man appears placed in a situation he does not want, knowing there is no other option, saying this is what it looks like to be in charge.
Trump promised not to fight this war. During his first term, he resisted Netanyahu's attempts to drag him into war, even after the plane was shot down following the Soleimani strike when responses attacked American bases but killed no one and provided warnings. Various pressures from the same extremists and players who tried to lure him into this war were resisted in his first term.
This resistance provided cautious optimism about his ability to resist again, especially since he publicly stated there would be no new wars this time, and all his aides said voting for Kamala Harris meant wanting war with Iran.
The Democratic Party was categorically rejected two years ago, and smart Democrats know this. They lack a program that will satisfy everyone. Trump remains extremely unpopular, so Democrats will be elected, but whether their program will change with new players after two years remains unclear.
New alliances formed with people like Max Blumenthal, Finkelstein, Krystal Ball, Ryan Grim, and Anna Kasparian, despite previous differences. These individuals deleted pronouns from their biographies and stopped engaging in what they called the awakening after losing the argument. It took a decade to defeat the cultural movement that children pretending to be girls represented.
Democrats are smart enough to realize the opposition to Netanyahu and the war on Iran will focus on the high cost of living problem, which resonates much better than other issues. The problem seen here is that
None of them can explain the root causes of the high cost of living crisis. During a debate with Joe Biden regarding student loan debt cancellation, the conversation focused entirely on whether the amount was constitutional or who should receive relief. No one asked the fundamental question of why university education has become so extremely expensive.
Why does teaching a nine or ten-year-old require such enormous amounts for books and materials? The need is simply for an intelligent person with an IQ of 120, some chalk on their jacket, a classroom, and basic supplies. The reason these costs are so high is because the government intervened in the loan guarantee and support field for universities, which raised the prices.
The prices of everything are too high because the currency has been destroyed. The speaker expresses skepticism about new ideas being presented, noting there has been no accountability regarding social awareness issues or COVID-19 issues. None of the politicians admit where they went wrong on these matters.
The speaker notes that those who were called Nazis for being right about certain issues deserve appreciation. While supporters of Trump face attacks for their vote, they are the ones who criticize him intensely when he makes mistakes.
The speaker questions why Democrats call themselves socialists when they do not adopt slogans about workplace democratization or nationalization of the means of production. When pressed on what socialism means, they respond that it means grocery supply in the city, free buses, and dignity - which the speaker describes as vague, moving targets.
The speaker expresses appreciation for leftist friends on their good attitudes toward critical issues over the years, but remains extremely skeptical based on what happens when many of them take authority or through their cultural behavior when in power. The speaker is certain Democrats will win the midterm elections and Trump's presidency will end.
The speaker suggests someone should run for the presidency in 2028, mentioning Thomas Massie or someone like him as a possibility. What is needed is someone who regains control of an alliance that is still standing and waiting to take charge. These are 80-20 issues where no one wants endless wars, open borders, or dozens of millions of non-immigrants with legal authority in the country.
Nobody wants to destroy the currency and see prices rise dramatically. Nobody wants to see additional overdose deaths. There are many problems with real solutions, but these cannot be addressed because focus remains on things that should not be preoccupying attention. People are not allowed to complain without being accused of hatred by Attorney General Todd, who uses taxpayer money to travel to cities and shout in faces while telling them to get out of their own country.
Dave Smith is thanked for his summary, with agreement that he is absolutely right. The speaker hopes for the best but prepares for more of the same. The conversation ends with mutual appreciation and plans to talk personally for five more hours over dinner.
