Stanley Plotkin, the world's leading vaccinologist, wrote Aaron Siri a letter after Siri deposed him for the first time. Plotkin said, "I heard you wrote a book and um your deposition went very very long and I wasn't prepared enough." He added, "I will be credited with saving millions and you will go down in history as the one who's harmed and killed children."
Siri responded, thanking Plotkin and noting they've reached out before. Siri wrote, "I think we can agree on one thing. We want to save as many children as possible. I want to save children from infectious disease. That's important. But I also want to save children from the harm from these products. They matter too. They're not just accepted casualties. The tens of thousands of families contacted my law firm. Devastating harms from these products. They matter too. And let's work together. Let's work constructively."
Siri warned Plotkin, "If you don't address this issue, history is not going to remember you for the good; history is going to remember you for all the harm you caused because when people look back in history at products that caused devastating harm which vaccines can do, they don't remember the good those products did; they remember the harms that people ignored that were overlooked and those were just cast aside. That will be your legacy. But there's time to correct it."
Plotkin hasn't responded. Siri posted both letters on his Substack and tweeted them out for public access.
Removing liability and giving blanket protection opened the door to people who just want to make money. Pharma companies have brilliant scientists making drugs and money people who don't care about anything but profit. This creates amazing drugs that help people alongside pressure to inject everyone for profit, especially with mandates and zero liability.
Siri's business idea analogy: Sell a product you inject into people. Government gives complete immunity no matter how many hurt or killed. Government mandates it. Spend billions convincing public it's great. Government guarantees payment for half of all vaccines even if people can't pay. No liability, guaranteed market, free promotion, guaranteed payment—insane if not vaccines, but that's the business model.
Capitalism harnesses self-interest for good with accountability and guardrails: do a good product or service, or face consequences. Vaccine industry lacks guardrails; money-driven people have gone off the rails without horns or evil intent.
Pharma pays giant criminal fines but executives slip away without jail. Sackler family faced no jail despite opioid crisis; deal for immunity in exchange for $6 billion blocked by judge after Painkiller Netflix documentary. Big banks were too big to fail during crisis; Sacklers like a smaller bank that could be sacrificed, but not Merck, Pfizer, GSK—no matter the harm.
