The Laziest Way to Lose Visceral Fat (That Actually Works)
In a Nutshell
Make processed food physically unavailable in your home by stocking only meat, seafood, and fermented foods, then link daily movement to existing events like post-meal walks or post-work runs. Progress to higher-intensity exercise like sprinting only after medical clearance, and prioritize sleep recovery to avoid compounding stress. Track visceral fat via MRI or symptom recovery rather than scale weight, since waist size alone doesn't reveal hidden abdominal fat.

If the weight loss plan you are following requires you to be disciplined from the moment you wake up until the moment you go to sleep, it is poorly designed. The easiest way to get rid of visceral fat is not to find a shortcut to melt it away without any effort, but rather to make the helpful action the automatic choice, and the unhelpful action the inconvenient choice. This is how you stop resisting the same decision ten times a day.
Dr. Sean O'Mara is a physician and researcher who uses magnetic resonance imaging to study visceral fat disease, a fatty disease that accumulates deep in the abdomen around the organs. The simplest system starts with the kitchen, beginning with the type of food available and the timing of the movement, then explaining how more difficult but more intelligent training gains importance, how the rest period maintains the continuity of the plan, and how to check if the unhealthy fat has actually changed.
The most frequently occurring decision in the system is what is readily available when you feel hungry. First, make processed food the inconvenient option. It's harmful food, you should get rid of it. Take a look at the kitchen cupboard and refrigerator. The freezer contains good, healthy, grass-fed meat and fresh seafood. There are no pizza boxes, bread dough, waffle cones, frozen pies, or anything like that. It's meat and seafood in the freezer.
In the refrigeration section, there are fermented dairy products, fermented foods, and live foods. There is nothing harmful there. If there is nothing harmful in it, you cannot eat it. The fridge is full with everything being wonderful and fine. Get rid of the processed, unhealthy foods that make you sick, and replace them with healthier options.
Our ancestors were very selective about what they ate. When they hunted, they selected the best, healthiest, most magnificent, strongest, and best-looking animals in the herd, rather than sick animals that suffered from epileptic seizures or discharged pus, or those that were too old or too young. They were choosing the best because it improved their health. Instead of opting for what's easier, like a frozen waffle that you toast in a toaster, you need to be a selective hunter in your modern food choices. The better your food choices, the better your health will be. The worse it is, the worse your health will be. It's that simple.
The biological diet consists of live food and any fermented food. There are many options of fermented live foods in the refrigerator. These foods are readily available for purchase in stores across America now. Most grocery stores carry some type of live fermented food, which contains live microbes and, more importantly, the metabolic byproducts produced by these live microbes, called metabios. These foods are making a quantum leap, and we are discovering more and more about their benefits. You too will discover these benefits when you incorporate them into your diet.
One of the most important things to do is keep fermented foods in a tray like a small box, and place this box on the dining table or counter, where it is easy to reach them to put on food. The goal is to have this type of food readily available. The meal consists of meat, cooked usually frying it in butter or ghee, or grilling it on the grill, and then eating all these fermented vegetables. There are fermented foods, fermented dairy products, kefir, and various other types of fermented foods, so they go on the plate, and this is often what it looks like. This is the case with almost every meal.
Each meal is different from the other. It always contains different combinations of fermented vegetables, fermented cheese, fermented kefir, fermented yogurt, fermented carrots, fermented asparagus, fermented beets, fermented sauerkraut, and fermented kimchi. All these different things, different combinations each time. The meal is like an exciting adventure. It is never the same, it is always different. But it is also always the same because it is always meat or seafood with the addition of live fermented foods to it. So it's very simple. If these are the only things in your refrigerator, that's all you'll eat, you'll always be satisfied, and you'll never feel hungry.
For the first time in your life, you are eating fresh food that improves your health instead of processed foods that worsen your condition and increase your illnesses.
Develop healthy habits. When you finish your workday or meal, take advantage of it in a healthy way. Take a short walk after your meal, or after a long day at work, do some brisk running. Link any healthy physical activity to your achievement of a specific event, and it will become a habit. It's a great way to connect something useful to something you already do. You can even create some visual stimuli. When you get home, you'll find your fast running shoes right in front of you, to remind you of that. Or you could put another pair of walking shoes in your kitchen after you finish your meal to remind you to go for a walk. The idea is to have a visual stimulus that helps you associate some of the things you do with something you do all the time. By doing so, you are adding something useful to what you do regularly.
Now, you need to be realistic about this. Simply walking and doing some movements will not be enough to get rid of the harmful visceral fat in your body. I'm just introducing you to some healthy activities you can do. We will move on later to more difficult and challenging physical exercises, which you still need to incorporate into your life if you want to radically get rid of harmful inflammatory visceral fat disease.
Also, you should start by noticing things. What is preventing you from exercising? What caused the problems? What are the triggers? What are the problems? To sum it up this way: Nature favors the organism that breaks down better. If you fail to do something, or if you do it badly, analyze it and then do it better in the future. If you experience shortness of breath, dizziness, severe dizziness, a feeling that you are going to pass out, or you feel pain, you need a doctor, someone to go to and discuss this with, because you need to get medical approval before you start exercising.
You have to earn it by gradually progressing towards more intense exercises, such as sprinting and high-intensity resistance training. Start slowly and progress slowly. You also need to know the correct indicators or metrics that you should follow. Simply feeling tired is not enough to ensure that you are exercising correctly. Let me be realistic with you too. Just because I'm doing sprinting at the age of 63 doesn't mean you'll be able to do it the same way. You will not have the same ability. Therefore, my method of practicing sprinting will be different from yours. Everyone is different. That's why I advise you to work with a specialist to help you incorporate these exercises, and before you start, make sure you get medical approval to begin exercising.
Another tip is that you can set a timetable for your exercises to avoid hesitation about exercising. If you want to put these resolutions in front of you, the 30-Day Perfect Start Challenge provides a daily structure for food, movement, and rest. You will find the link below.
The next part is where the simple plan often fails. Stop piling pressures on top of each other. Pressure is not necessarily the problem. The problem lies in the pressure from which you never recover. It's untreated pressure. So, stress is actually something that makes you physically better. However, you should be able to recover from it. Therefore, if you do not recover from it adequately, you are adding harm to existing harm. You must endure a little of the stress as you recover from it.
Let's talk about the relaxation sequence for the end of your day. Perhaps finishing your last meal at an appropriate time, and limiting delayed stimulation from light, television, and craziness that can hinder your ability to transition to sleep, and create that peaceful transition you need for the important activity that awaits you, which is going to bed and getting that useful period of rest called sleep, which is so essential to your health, to protect your window of sleep. So, here are some tips you can follow after eating: perhaps going to work or taking a walk, as I mentioned earlier, perhaps some light stretching exercises, spending some time in quiet, and practicing nasal breathing exercises to relax before bed. If you are experiencing persistent sleep problems, persistent fatigue, or persistent weakness, you should consult a specialist to analyze your condition. Regain your health and then return to your optimal lifestyle.
Let's talk about measuring body health and structural disease status instead of relying on other numbers that won't make a difference. We will start with MRI images. Look at these two pictures. One is dark in the middle, and the other is white. They are both the same waist size. Therefore, if you only measure your waist size, you will not notice the difference between health and illness. This person enjoys much better health, while this person suffers from more diseases due to the accumulation of visceral fat. Therefore, you need to track the correct numbers. It's not about your body mass index, or just your waist circumference, and certainly not about a bathroom scale. Therefore, tracking weight alone is not the right approach. Your weight may decrease due to muscle loss, not necessarily due to recovery from an illness. You must distinguish between the two cases.
You need to have an MRI scan. Is MRI suitable for everyone? I wish it were available to everyone, but not everyone is able to. However, this is my starting point, and this is what I focus on. So, if you are able to have an MRI, I advise you to start with it. Between appropriate measurements, for example when re-examining, you should monitor your behaviors, your digestive system, your diet, your meal patterns, your daily movement, your training schedule, your sleep, your pains, your symptoms, and most importantly, your recovery. Then you can make the necessary adjustments and monitor the results. Nature favors the organism that analyzes and executes best. Choose one aspect to focus on and improve each time. If your diet is adequate, but training is not working, adjust your training level, whatever the cause of the problem, and start from there instead of rebuilding the entire system. That's why this approach is the easiest. Therefore, the recommendations in this system that I have presented here are simple enough to apply, but the body needs continuous work, rest, and time to get rid of visceral fat and improve your health.
If food is the part you still find difficult to simplify, watch the following video which explains all the benefits of a meat-based diet in 12 minutes. This video provides you with the complete foundation of the "Living Diet" system, which forms the basis of the first part of this system. Before changing your diet, exercise, or medications, consult your doctor. I am a doctor, but I am not your doctor.
